Biography:
Dr. Syed Abdul Rehman Khan is an expert of Supply Chain and Logistics Management. Dr Khan achieved his CSCP—Certified Supply Chain Professional certificate from the U.S.A. and completed his PhD in China. Since 2018, Dr Khan is a teacher of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has more than twelve years’ core experience of supply chain and logistics at industry and academic levels. He has attended several international conferences and also has been invited as a keynote speaker in different countries. He has published more than 100+ scientific research papers in different well-renowned international peer-reviewed journals (SSCI/SCI and ABS listed) and conferences, including couple of research paper indexed in Essential Science Indicators (ESI). Dr Khan is the authored of 7 books related to the sustainability in supply chain and business operations. He is a regular contributor to conferences and workshops around the world. During the last three years, Dr Khan has won 5 different national/provincial-level research projects. Besides, Dr Khan has achieved scientific innovation awards three times consecutively by the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, China. Further, Dr. Khan is the member of project evaluation board of APCIS – Supply Chain and Logistics, US; National Science Foundation and Ministry of Education, Oman; Science Foundation of Kazakistan; and Business Research and Service Institute, US. Also, Dr Khan holds memberships in the following well-renowned institutions and supply chain bodies/associations: APCIS-U.S.; Production and Operation Management Society, India; Council of Supply Chain Management of Professionals U.S.; Supply Chain Association of Pakistan; and Global Supply Chain Council China.
Prof. Ahmad Zuhairi Abdullah

Biography:
Professor Dr Ahmad Zuhairi Abdullahreceived his B. Tech (Hons), MSc, and PhD in 1995, 2000, and 2004, respectively. He was the Deputy Dean (Industry and Community Network) at the School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia between 2010-2012 and Deputy Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) between 2013-2018 and the dean in 2022-2024. He is registered as a Professional Technologist at Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), a Fellow Member of Akademi Sains Malaysia and Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM), and a Life member of the Malaysian Oil Scientists and Technologists’ Association (MOSTA). He is regularly appointed as an MBOT accreditation auditor and as a program’s external examiner for many academic programs in different Malaysian universities. His research works mostly involve the use of ordered porous catalytic materials in oleochemical reactions, renewable energy, waste treatment, and waste valorization. He has nearly 300 refereed publications in journals and book/book chapters mainly as the main author, and also involves as a technical committee member of nearly 200 international scientific conferences. He is often invited to share his research experiences at various international conferences held in Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, The Philippines, and PR China. In addition, he is an evaluator for research proposals from different ministries/agencies locally as well as from several international scientific bodies in the USA, Oman, Qatar, Kazakhstan, and Chile. He is also an expert panel of the Department of Environment Malaysia for the evaluation of Environmental Impact Assessment reports for various proposed commercial projects related to petrochemical complexes, paper mills, metal smelting, chemical, lead-acid battery recycling plants, etc. He is one of the recipients of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) award in 2014 and was listed in the List of World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University in 2020-2024. Hish-index (Scopus) currently stands at 65 with more than 14,000 citations.
Assoc. Prof. Chow Ming Fai
The Green Talent award by German Federal Ministry of Education and Research

Biography:
Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Chow Ming Fai is an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Discipline of the School of Engineering, Monash University Malaysia. His research interests are mainly focus on (i) Sustainable urban stormwater management, (ii) hydrological & water quality modeling, (iii) flood forecasting and inundation modeling and (iv) hydropower and dam management. He completed bachelor degree of civil engineering and PhD degree from University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) in 2007 and 2012, respectively. Since then, he had worked in Academia Sinica, Taiwan and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). To date, he had successfully secured five government grants (3 FRGS and 1 PRGS from Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, 1 chair in energy economics (GCEE) grant from Energy Commission Malaysia) and 1 industry grant from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) as project leader. He had obtained the professional engineer (Ir.), chartered engineer (CEng.), professional technologist (Ts) and professional geospatialist recognitions. In 2015, Dr. Chow was awarded the Green Talent award by German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for his excellent in sustainability research. Besides that, he was awarded the Outstanding Young Academician Award (category research & publication) 2016 and Excellent Teaching Award 2019 by Universiti Tenaga Nasional. He has been involved in many consultancy projects with clients from TNB, TNBR, Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID) and Lembaga Kemajuan Pertanian Muda (MADA). Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Chow is currently inviting potential postgraduate students (research) to join the water research group in Monash University Malaysia.
Assoc. Prof. Zawawi Bin Daud

Biography:
Dr. Zawawi Daud works as an Associate Professor at Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Born and trained in Malaysia, he has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (University of Technology Malaysia), a master’s in Civil Engineering (Environment) (University of Technology Malaysia), and a doctorate in Environmental Engineering (University of Science Malaysia). Dr. Zawawi teaches various courses related to environmental engineering, management and science at undergraduate and masters levels. These include water and wastewater treatment, biological and physico-chemical treatment processes, sludge management, industrial and hazardous waste management and water quality management. Dr. Zawawi’s research focuses on alleviating problems associated with water pollution issues from industrial wastewater and landfill leachate. His latest interest is on natural adsorbent material in water and wastewater treatments.
